Course Description

The "Sport Communication" course consists of 30 training hours divided into six sessions. The author and trainer of this course is Mr. Hossam Ezz El-Din, who will communicate with you throughout the course. Despite the tremendous development in the means of communication and its speed, in the various economic, social, sports and cultural fields, the prevailing general view still deals with communication and restricting it only to the possibility of access to media, instead of to the means of communication. Thus, the various institutions are more interested today in communication and they even recruit specialists who are able to track and control the information in the midst of all the data flowing through the Internet. There is also an increase interest today in the field of public relations. The organization of the communication process has become a self-contained process and the various institutions give great attention to the fact that many institutions in different fields have begun to work in these specializations to serve the Palestinians, who accordingly have witnessed development in the sports sector starting 2008 that included the creation of new sports facilities, regularity of the general league, the birth of a women’s league in Palestine, and in the Palestinian participation in regional and international games and competitions.

Each institution has its goals, whether competitive, profitable, or promotional, but in the end, every institution seeks to achieve success in the goals that it has set for itself. This course aims to develop participants' capabilities and improve their skills in building communication and public relations strategies for sports institutions.
