Our team of mentors are qualified in a wide range of business fields and works individually with each business helping them analyze, model, and start their particular business venture in a particular market context. At our Center learning takes place as partners and beneficiaries engage in projects being implemented by CCE for their benefits. The underlying principle here is working with the beneficiaries in designing and implementing their projects – not doing it for them. CCE mentors and technical experts provide limited training or orientation (where needed), for example, working with the partners on the design of their intervention, giving them assignments, and coaching them as they develop the solutions for their own community or business.
Awareness Raising
Raising awareness on entrepreneurship concepts among Palestinian youth and women whether from Birzeit University or other university, college, and vocational school, from students or graduates.
Opportunity Creation
Improving the agency, capacity and opportunity of women and youth entrepreneurs to reach an environment that helps them build and develop their businesses. We mentor entrepreneurs in idea generation and evaluation.
Capacity Building
Building the capacities of women and youth entrepreneurs in a wide range of areas including, but not limited to, market research, business planning, business management, financial management, entrepreneurial skills and access to information.
Business Planning
We mentor potential entrepreneurs in performing independent research, creating their business model, designing products and services, identifying customers and suppliers, fine-tuning marketing plans, laying out production processes, and questioning assumptions.
Business Financing
We mentor individual entrepreneurs on seeking financing by applying for micro loans and support them in presenting their Business to potential investors and bankers. We also stay with our clients in negotiations with potential suppliers over fair pricing for products and services that their business needs.
Business Marketing
We assist entrepreneurs in conducting research on their target market and competition, exploring and proposing alternative ways to market their products and services, developing marketing campaigns and materials, accessing domestic and foreign markets, opening new markets, increasing loyalty of existing clients, introducing new products, and enhancing competitiveness through improving quality of products, packaging, and customer relations.
