Introduction to Entrepreneurship

Course Description

Entrepreneurs around the world own special pioneering traits that help them turn a good idea into a tangible money making business. This course will help you explore the different basic competencies that define an Entrepreneur. It will also address the meaning of entrepreneurship and defines the necessary steps for beginning a new venture in life. A primary goal of this course is to help you develop your entrepreneurial competencies which you’ll need in facing the challenges and handling the responsibilities of Entrepreneurship. For almost all Palestinian entrepreneurs, the most pressing question – aside from financing of course – is how to find a creative idea, develop it and turn it into a successful business . In this course we will also look into different ways for identifying a business idea. At the end of this curse each participant should have at least 1 business idea which is tested using the prefeasibility tools.

This is not a lecture-based course; the material will be mostly cases, exercises and simulations. We will also try to make the most benefit of the diversified experiences you have and this will enrich the discussions during classes and through the online sessions. The course is organized in the blended mode, and you will be graded for your participation in both face – to – face and online sessions.
