Teacher empowerment and professional development are inherent within the xLOBs implementation model: learning through application; communities of practice, and on-going support and reinforcement. Throughout the year, the teachers will receive on-going mentoring, support, and will engage in reflection workshops and communities of practice<\/li>\n\t
xLOBs give teachers the tools to inspire, facilitate, and partner with students in their learning journey.<\/li>\n\t
They provide teachers with suggestions for effective strategies to achieve the broad objectives set by the new curriculum. However, teachers are provided all the space to modify, expand, add, replace, copy and share<\/li>\n\t
As teachers work with xLOBs, they will become exposed repeatedly to good educational designs in every unit they teach<\/li>\n\t
They Facilitate gender responsiveness among teachers <\/li>\n\t
An on-line platform will allow teachers to connect with other teachers from different Palestinian cities and share lessons learned, advise, and compare notes. <\/li>\n\t
xLOBs enhance teacher professionalization by using xLOBs as a highly applied and effective means for teacher professional development.<\/li>\n\t
They provide the means for teachers to apply the educational practices typically covered in their programs and a means to effect a positive change in the learning outcomes immediately.<\/li>\n\t
They are also designed to support teachers identify children that may require additional support and mechanisms to refer them to counsellors or other care providers <\/li>\n\t
Therefore teachers that begin to tech with xLOBs will not only familiarize themselves with the academic side of xLOBs, but will familiarize themselves and the student with personal development elements of xLOBs<\/li>\n\t
Teachers will be required to continuously reflect on the xLOBs and teaching practices, critique them, propose alternative approaches, and eventually design their own xLOBs

xLOBs \u201cengine\u201d can be used in multiple learning pathways: formal, non-formal, vocational, on-line, and others <\/li>\n\t
Instead of putting thousands of teachers through an extensive re-training process to qualify them to independently design and lead stimulating and motivating education. With xLOBs, teachers receive limited training and orientation on how to deploy and use xLOBs in their teaching effectively <\/li>\n\t
