Experiential learning objects to be implemented in 300 new schools 05-08-2019 The Center for Continuing Education at Birzeit University and the Ministry of Education and Higher Education are preparing to launch the experiential learning objects (xLOBs) in more than 300 schools, starting at the beginning of the academic year 2019/20. Birzeit University, UNICEF to expand primary-level learning objects 27-03-2018 Birzeit University signed an agreement with UNICEF to develop and implement the second phase of the Life Skills and Citizenship Education Initiative for primary-level students (1st-4th grades). The primary mechanism for the agreement, which was signed on March 22, 2018, is integrating and executing learning objects – specially designed lessons that incorporate life skills and active citizenship into school curricula. |

Workshop creatively integrates life skills with math, physics 20-03-2018 The Center for Continuing Education at Birzeit University, in cooperation with the Ministry of Higher Education, held a two-day workshop to develop learning objects in math and physics for 7th-10th grades.
