In the early 1990s, the Continuing Education Department (CED) was established as a training center and community outreach program. Since then the center evolved into a center of excellence, continuously providing the best learning experience, continuing education, business advise and mentorship, and community development to strengthen, empower, and elevate future generations of children, women, youth as well as professionals and people working in industry and education from our local and regional communities by researching and developing innovative solutions that responds to the local and regional context, technology advancements, best proven theories and practice, thus extending the work of the university and connecting it to the community at large.
