The project targeted PNA ministries and institutions, the Prime Minister Office, the Supreme Judiciary Council, and Civil service. In addition, the Centre has also provided consultations to the Ministry of Planning (MoP) on the reform of the public sector. CCE consultants have worked in participation with the ministries and agencies of the PNA to develop the Medium Term Reform and Development Plan (RDP) for the years 2008-2010.

UNDP - DEEP program seeks \"to improve the living conditions of depressed and deprived Palestinian families and so to contribute to a revitalized Palestinian economy through supporting self-employment and micro-enterprise development as means to reduce unemployment, achieve higher economic growth and reduce poverty.\" CCE is a consulting partner of the program responsible for capacity-building of all national stakeholders. CCE developed, designed and implemented a capacity-building program for the Standard Judges at the High Judicial Council (HJC), and Sharia judges and prosecutors at Sharia Courts and enable them to provide gender responsive services to women in courts.     \"As a result of this project, the quality and relevance of education in 150 schools in crisis areas in the West Bank (including Jerusalem) will adopt an educational model that will result in an improvement in quality and relevance of education for girls and boys aged 6-17 years old. In more specific terms, as a result of this project:<\/p>\n\n
    \n\t
    Students motivation and attitude to learning and to schools will be increased. They will demonstrate acquisition of life skills and higher academic performance.<\/li>\n\t
    Schools will be able to better integrate students with special learning needs. Students with special learning needs will exhibit improved well-being and are more interated within the school. UNESCO\u2019s inclusive education manual will be upgraded, developed and widely utilized.<\/li>\n\t
    Teachers will demonstrate their ability to apply contemporary trends in teaching and learning and provide stimulating and engaging lessons<\/li>\n\t
    A group of supervisors will constitute a team of master trainers in inclusive education will be developed \u2013 capable of training teachers on xLOBs with special emphasis on LSCE and on inclusive education and support them as the implement them in schools.<\/li>\n\t
    Conselors will become better oriented on inclusive education and throgh xLOBs will be able to work with teachers on a better integration of inclusive education in the classrooms and\/or support students with special learning needs.<\/li>\n\t
    Principals will have increased awareness of inclusive education and the effectiveness of the xLOBs model, both in terms of increasing quality and access to education and to support inclusive education <\/li>\n\t
    Research results: The proejct will undergo an intensive research application that will follow the development and the results of the intervention.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n

    MENAdata project focuses on building a sustainable community of practice around a key opportunity in the region: The innovative use of data to address development challenges. The research focuses on emerging issues for the data community: Open data as it pertains to new technologies and the development of data governance in MENA as it relates to the management and regulation of data practices. Central to all activities at MENAdata is data awareness and data capacity building especially for university graduates, building capacity in the creation and use of data and open data.<\/p>\n\n
    MENAdata project has three primary functions, all of which aim to incorporate gender as a cross cutting theme:<\/p>\n\n
    \n\t
    To establish an open educational capacity development program in data science, targeting university students and graduates. This program aims at creating a critical mass of data professionals, producers, users, and leaders that can drive a data agenda in MENA; a fundamental component in all aspects of development today.<\/li>\n\t
    To undertake research on open data for development in MENA, and pilot data for development initiatives or expeditions, creating local expertise and supporting innovation in the region.<\/li>\n\t
    To function as a coordinating body bringing together partners from across the region in order to share resources, strengthen the management, quality, and use of data in development.<\/li>\n\t
    To drive public awareness around data<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n
    The project is broken down into several work packages, and each package includes several activities that contribute to achieving the project objectives.
