Course Description

This module will introduce you to the early interactions that take place between parents and their infant. Major topics covered in this module will include psychological needs of the mother to-be during pregnancy and after delivery, the new challenges parents will face during this period and the problems that can occur during this developmental stage of the family cycle. This module will try to show how the events that take place during pregnancy, after delivery and in the early interactions between the baby and his parents can have an impact on the child's development

  • Diagnose accurately the common post partum disorders
  • Enable you to differentiate normal patterns of parent-children interactions from         pathological ones.
