Course Description

This course will start with the objectives, importance, origin, and development of strategic management concept and practice. We will take you throughout the course identifying the most important topics in strategy and will also help you in building your own strategic plan. The following is how this course proceeds:

Topic 1 - The concept of strategic management and the stages of its inception and development will be introduced, in addition to an overview of the basic concepts of successful strategic management.

Topic 2 - The strategic management objectives and their importance will be identified and how to formulate the vision, mission and objectives.

Topic 3 - The concept of the external and internal environment and its importance will be introduced, in addition to the quadripartite analysis.

Topic 4 - The concept of strategic goals, their features, elements and how to formulate them will be introduced.

Topic 5 - The concept, components and uses of strategic alternatives will be introduced.

Topic 6 - You will learn how the strategic matrix works, the implementation of the strategy, and the steps for follow-up and monitoring of performance.

Topic 7 - The process of evaluating the strategy and its importance will be learned.
