Course Description

This course outlines how entrepreneurs could raise money and build an understanding of the financial issues that face entrepreneurs and financiers in that process. The module analyzes the basic features of various financing arrangements for entrepreneurs such as bank financing, venture capital financing, angel financing, and funding from corporate investors.

Explain why most entrepreneurial ventures need to raise money during their early life.
Describe principles of entrepreneurial finance
Identify the sources of financing available to entrepreneurs
