Introduction to Python (Non-IT)

Course Description

Python is a popular, easy to learn programming language. It is commonly used in the field of data analysis because there are very efficient libraries available to process large amounts of data. This so-called data analysis stack includes libraries such as Pandas, and Matplotlib that we will familiarize ourselves with in this course.

Objectives

Use Python as a programming tool to do data exploration, manipulation, and visualization
Recognize the importance of Python programing language and what it can do
Read and store data using Pandas
Compute statistical parameters for specific data.
Represent data graphically using Matplotlib.
Be able to build a simple Python code that processes simple data
Manipulate data using Pandas
Acquire thorough knowledge about the different terminologies used in Data Science.
